Puttu Kudam Long

The Puttu Kudam (also known as a puttu maker or puttu steamer) is a traditional South Indian kitchen appliance, widely used in Kerala, designed to prepare cylindrical, steamed rice cakes called puttu. This is a tall, cylindrical container that fits securely onto the base container or a pressure cooker vent (in the case of attachment models). The ingredients (coarsely ground rice flour, grated coconut, and salt) are layered inside this tube.
